Introducing the Raketa “Russian Code” – A Timepiece Rewriting the Rules of Time
Prepare to shift your perspective with the Raketa “Russian Code,” a watch that challenges conventional timekeeping. This extraordinary timepiece marks the re-edition of one of Raketa Watch Factory’s most iconic models, featuring captivating counterclockwise hands.
The counterclockwise movement of the hands is powered by a very special Raketa automatic movement (2615R). The engineers of the Raketa Watch Factory inverted the movement of the hands by changing the construction of the 2 most important parts of the mechanical movement: the mainspring barrel and the escapement! This
engineering feat could only be accomplished because Raketa produces in-house 100% of these parts.
Crafted with precision, the watch boasts a brushed silver stainless steel case adorned with spherical sapphire glass. Its matte grey metal dial showcases a 3D representation of Earth, while a black genuine leather strap adds a touch of classic elegance. Beneath this understated design lies a groundbreaking concept: time in harmony with the natural counterclockwise movement of planets. The second hand, adorned with the Moon, orbits Earth at the dial’s center. Turn the watch over, and you’ll discover a beautifully decorated automatic movement, meticulously crafted and assembled at the Raketa Watch Factory in Saint-Petersburg.
Limited to just 10 pieces worldwide, this timepiece beckons you to embrace a new era of watchmaking. To wear it is to break free from centuries-old traditions of reading time in a clockwise manner.
